• Coordinating the provision of judicially mandated and voluntary alcohol and other drug abuse assessments/interventions to students, as well as assuming a leadership role in providing individual and group therapy to students with substance abuse concerns.
• Coordinate the mandatory Substance Abuse Assessment Program (BASICS), including maintaining all relevant records of service provision, trends, and evaluation thereof.
• Provides open enrollment groups (Transformations) for students who need additional services beyond the BASICS substance abuse assessment/intervention but are not ready for a recovery group.
• Intervenes in and serves as a resource for consultations involving substance abuse related crisis interventions.
